I am a passionate clinician excited to offer the tools, support and guidance needed to help you be your best self now. Services are provided in a professional, safe, and comfortable environment. I've worked with children, adolescents, and families for over 20 years.

I believe that we are destined to relive those negative experiences of life left unresolved. Thoughts, feelings, behaviors related to an early experience or trauma resurface and become obstacles in life. My mission is to help others live the life they envisioned before the hurt and to cope with everyday stressors in a healthy way. I've witnessed even the smallest change improve a person's quality of life.

It is my passion to equip clients with the tools to overcome circumstances that life has dealt them. I enjoy therapy and working with a myriad of age groups and concerns. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I collaborate with clients to develop achievable/realistic goals that will improve their current life circumstances. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Alabama and my Master of Arts in Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, traveling, trying new foods, and creating content! My approach is highly personalized, integrating innovative, evidence-based techniques to help my clients along their journey to self-acceptance and achieve powerful change. I use the following modalities: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and motivational interviewing. Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate

Dana Dansby, Counselor, MA, LMFT

I have been a Marriage & Family Therapy Associate Counselor Since July 2021. My first career was that of a Registered Nurse. I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I felt in my heart that Counseling was the road that I should pursue after counseling couples and individuals at Church. I got so excited after counseling with the clients. I enjoyed encouraging them, affirming them, valuing each person and collaborating with them to find functional solutions to the challenges in their relationships and exchanges. I finished by MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy Counseling from Liberty University in 2017. I have a variety of experience working with children, adults, couples, individuals, and groups from community agencies, nonprofits, residential facilities, and out-patient treatment centers. It brings me joy to partner with my clients on their transformation journey and my hope and prayer is that we can work together towards reaching their optimum mental health goals.

I am Sherry Jenkins, M.Ed., an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC), practicing under the supervision of Deidra Keener, LPC-S, NCC, JSOCCP, with over a decade of experience supporting children, families, and young adults. My path into counseling began with a deep curiosity about human behavior and a desire to understand what shapes the way people think, feel, and grow. I have supported individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, behavioral challenges, family changes, and self-esteem concerns. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and integrative.

Known for my warm, supportive presence, I strive to create a safe space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. I am passionate about helping individuals not only overcome obstacles but also grow into the fullest version of themselves.
